Coach Derryl is the guiding hand over all of IFEP’s player development activities. Be it through his active role in coaching players and coaches alike, or his influence on the structure of IFEP itself, Derryl’s involvement with the program is crucial to its objectives and long-term success. His coaching philosophy is about creating the best experiences for aspiring footballers. The effectiveness of his ability shows in his results as the technical head of Goa Football Development Council’s residential program, with four of his athletes being selected by the India U16 team (2019).
His qualifications and experiences speak for themselves. Coach Derryl completed the Premier Skills Level 2 certification in 2010 and the AFC Project Future Coach program in
2012. Furthermore, he is a FIFA certified coach at every level of competition, and an AIFF-certified Coach Instructor.
As an elite trainer, he has rubbed shoulders with some of the best coaches in the game– Alberto Zaccheroni, Frank Rijkaard and Jugren Klopp, to name a few. Derrly completed the DFB International Coaching course on assignment with Borussia Dortmund, and holds the honour of being one of only a handful of Indian coaches to complete the AFC sanctioned Project Future Coach (2009-2012)
